All our entities subscribe to an integrated management system where procedures of quality (ISO 9001), environmental protection (ISO 14001, EMAS II) and safety (Seveso II, OSHA) are instituted. The specific modules have been audited and certified by independent experts.
We go all out to guarantee the safe operation of our facilities and to protect our employees and neighbours in the vicinity of our plants. Measures include subjecting our facilities to strict controls, regular safety inspections on site, and intense training for our workforce. Although our accident rate is well below the average for the chemicals industry our goal is a zero accident rate. We are able to comply with customer requirements and always supply merchandise in conformity with the relevant specifications. All activities relating to quality control, from procurement of feedstocks to dispatch, from laboratory development to production facilities, as well as all administration and service departments are geared to meet this objective. - We are aware of the impact of our activities on the environment and continuously strive to minimise any negative effect. Key mechanisms in place include modern waste-water treatment facilities, economic consumption of fresh water and the deployment of energy sources with lowest possible sulphur content.
